Dark Light

Hello!

I was born and raised in rural New South Wales, Australia, where I grew up surrounded by wide-open spaces and small-town life. During my university years, while living on campus, I began to take my Christian faith seriously, recognising the need for credible answers to life’s big questions. It was also during that time that I met my wife, whose support and encouragement have been a cornerstone of my journey ever since.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering from Newcastle University, where I was awarded an Industry Scholarship (UNISS). For 14 years, I worked as a government contractor in the defence and aerospace industry, with focus on Tactical Air Defence Radar Systems, and F-35A Joint Strike Fighter training support. However, a growing passion for sharing the gospel led me down a different path. I pursued a Master of Christian Apologetics, majoring in the Philosophy of Religion, at Veritas International University, graduating summa cum laude. I also completed some study in the UK at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA), where I received a Distinction.

Today, I am a speaker with Questioning Christianity (QC), an Australian-based Christian evangelism and apologetics ministry. My work involves evangelism and theological training, digital content creation, and speaking engagements where I field questions at schools, universities, churches, and conferences. Through all of these avenues, the goal is to help people connect their big questions to the Christian story.

I also host a short apologetics radio segment on Rhema FM 99.7 and have collaborated with organisations such as TalkAboutDoubts.com and The Gospel Coalition Australia. I’ve had the privilege of contributing to books, The Comprehensive Guide to Apologetics and The Comprehensive Guide to Science and Faith. My writings cover a broad range of topics, offering readers a deeper understanding of Christian thought and practice.

When I’m not working, I cherish time with my wife and our children. Whether we’re camping, catching waves at the beach, or tinkering in the backyard, I find joy and rest in the simple moments we share together.

I’d love to connect—feel free to reach out!
